Grace accepts Beta Tedd's explanation rather quickly. If I were her, I'd suspect a prank were afoot. 

It's possible I introduced this whole alternate universe dealie WAY too early in the comic's history. It's also possible it shouldn't have been introduced at all, buuuut that's debatable. In any case, it's a thing. It's canon. Stuff actually results from it. It's not a situation like those two guys who shall not be named again.

Incidentally, I like creating scenarios in which it's implied that Elliot and Tedd could very easily be dating each other given different circumstances, so I hope you do, to.
