I found a tutorial on lip syncing in flash, and I decided I wanted to try it out. KeenCAST had just premiered, so I decided to snag a bit of sound from the first podcast, and that bit of sound happened to be Chris Layfield of Zap! introducing himself.
The animated character is based on the image that appears next to Chris's posts at KeenCAST. I suspected, and later had confirmed by Chris himself, that I got the hair all wrong. That's fine, however, seeing as I wasn't practicing animating hair at the time ^_^ As for the shifty eyes and faces after the dialogue, I wanted to practice the technique I used more, but didn't want to record or lip sync any more dialogue, hence the weird looks.
