Below are sketches for several characters, some of which are new character designs. These may or may not be representative of how these characters will actually look when they show up in the comic, but there's a good chance they will be at least similar in key respects.

The man with the eyepatch might look a lot different in the end, but he'll still have that stylish eyepatch and scarring. The man with the beard might wind up looking older or much younger; his age makes things, well, complicated.
As for that creepy silhouette of doom, that's nothing. Nothing at all. Why would you think it's something. That's silly. YOU'RE silly! This whole COMIC is silly! *drinks hot cocoa*
